INSERTER – FASTENERS & FITTINGS MADE EASY
In 2018, Onesite Laser partnered with Northern Precision Ltd in Doncaster enabling us to offer fastener insertion into our processed parts. We commissioned Northern Precision to install a 6 tonne Primaserter self-clinch sheet metal fastener installation press. The new press allows fasteners to be easily inserted into either box- or C-type work pieces and will accommodate materials of 3 mm thick. The Primaserter has a range of accessories that can be used to make the machine into a flexible production aid to suit a wide range of applications. Our partnership with Northern Precision allows Onesite laser to install and supply self-clinching fasteners, rivet bushes, sheet nuts, high-strength and broaching fasteners, weld nuts and studs, cage nuts and blind rivets, as well as special turned and cold-formed components to customer requirements.
